Background
Season 3 began in October 2025 and ended in December 2025, and a second part for 2027 was confirmed soon after. The long gap is the story here: Part 1 and Part 2 are separated by about a year. The series itself started with Madhouse in 2015, and J.C.Staff has handled it since Season 2 in 2019. The source is the manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata, which is still running.
Part 2 is reported to continue the Monster Association story, and the key visual puts Garou at the center of it. For anyone coming back after a year away, the practical advice is to rewatch the last few episodes of Part 1 before January.

What it means
This is one of the biggest returning titles of Winter 2027, and it lands in a crowded season. Other adult-leaning picks in the same window include Sekiro: No Defeat, Golden Kamuy: Runaway Train Arc, The Fable Season 2, Sakamoto Days Season 2 and the film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM ZERO. Our full list is on the Winter 2027 anime season page.
Searches for "one punch man season 3 part 2" are also strong in Southeast Asia. In our keyword data, Indonesian demand for the Part 2 phrase is about four times the Philippine demand, and Filipino searchers also look up the release date and the episode count. Both answers are still open.
Some social posts claim Part 2 will have 13 episodes. We could not confirm that from an official page, so treat it as unconfirmed. The same goes for where to watch: Wikipedia lists Hulu for the US and Crunchyroll for Europe and the Middle East for earlier parts, but no partner has been named for Part 2. Availability varies by region, so check your local service closer to the premiere.
